We just returned from the most delightful engagement party. It was in almost every way like a wedding with the exchanging of vows and even rings. It was beautiful and the food was wonderful. It was held outdoors at a local seminary in downtown Kolcata. The people here never cease to amaze us. They are so polite and hospitable. The seemed overjoyed to have had us celebrating this time with them. It's occasions like these that really challenge us to think about how hospitable we really are....

Those photos are amazing. I am always in awe of other countries' traditions. It seems that you have been welsomed with open arms and will be able t do God's work in India- Praise the Lord! Have a great trip, guys. And come home safely!
